My boys adore air fryer hash browns! I used to make them in the oven and it took forever, well about 25 minutes but to hungry little boys, that's an eternity lol!!! Using the air fryer it only takes 10 minutes! I like to serve them up with eggs! Try these Chilli Scrambled Eggs if you like a nice kick!

    Frequently Asked Questions

What's the best way to cook frozen hash brown patties?

I feel the best way to cook hash brown patties is in the air fryer as they cook faster than the oven and they are crispier. Keep in mind that the patties should be in a single layer with ample room for air circulation or they will be soggy. In the air fryer, they don't require any additional oil, and cleanup is a breeze.

How long do I cook hash brown patties?

Hash brown patties cook at 400 degrees for 10 minutes in the air fryer. Baking them in the oven takes about 25 minutes.

Are frozen hash brown patties healthy?

Frozen hash brown patties are generally not considered healthy. You can try to find organic hash browns with cleaner ingredients or you can make them homemade.

    Expert Tips

    • Serve these hash browns immediately after cooking. They will get soggy after sitting. You can reheat them in the air fryer for a few minutes but definitely better made fresh.
    • If you need to cook more than 4. They can be cooked in batches and kept warm in a 200 degree oven.
    • If desired you can season the patties with spices like garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper and cayenne for extra flavor before cooking!
