    Frequently Asked Questions

How long do sausage links take to cook in the air fryer?

Fresh sausage links take 10 minutes to cook in the air fryer. Flip halfway through the cooking time. If you use maple sausage links you may want to lower the temperature to 380 or 390 degrees and check on them at the 8-minute mark. The sugars in these sausages can cause the outside to burn so turning or shaking your air fryer basket is important.

Can you cook sausage links from frozen?

Yes! Take extra care to make sure there is enough space between the sausages for air circulation. Cook them in a preheated air fryer for 6 minutes at 400 degrees flip them and cook them for an additional 6 minutes.

How do you know when breakfast sausage is done?

Sausages should reach an internal temperature of 160 degrees and should no longer be pink inside. You can test this with an instant-read thermometer I love this one!
