Charlotte's Tips for the Perfect Watermelon Slushies

    • Cut and freeze watermelon cubes the night before.
    • Add more ice for a thicker texture or a splash of water to thin it out.
    • Taste your watermelon first—if it's super sweet, skip the honey.
    • Serve immediately for best consistency!

    Recipe Variations

    • Swap lime for lemon or add a pinch of fresh ginger for zing.
    • Add a splash of coconut water for tropical vibes.
    • Use agave instead of honey for a vegan version.
    • Make it a cocktail with a splash of vodka or tequila for adults.

    Recipe Substitutions

    • Use cantaloupe or strawberries for a different fruit base.
    • Substitute lime with lemon juice.
    • Replace honey with maple syrup or your sweetener of choice.

    Storage Tips

This slushie is best served immediately after blending. You can prep the frozen watermelon ahead of time and store cubes in a freezer-safe bag for quick slushies anytime. Leftovers may separate, but can be re-blended with more ice.

What a perfect summer recipe. I am always looking for a way to use the best watermelon of the season. And I love that there isn’t a ton of added sugar. I’m pinning this to make it later this week for the pool.
