Recipe
Oreo Pizza
Ingredients
- 1 package chocolate chip cookie dough I used Pillsbury Chocolate chunk
- ¼ cup unsalted butter
- 4 ounces cream cheese room temperature
- ¼ cup confectioners sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- pinch of salt
- 1 ½ cups of chopped Oreo Cookies about 12 Oreos
Instructions
- To begin, preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Press the cookie dough into a 12-inch tart or pizza pan and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Once baked, remove the cookie dough from the oven and allow it to cool.
- While the cookie cools, prepare the cream cheese frosting by creaming together the cream cheese and butter in a medium mixing bowl until light and fluffy, which should take about 1-2 minutes on medium speed with an electric mixer. Next, add the confectioners sugar, vanilla, and salt, and beat until combined and smooth, starting on low speed and then adjusting to medium-high.
- Chop the Oreos on a cutting board and set them aside.
- Add some of the cream cheese frosting to the center of the cooled cookie pizza and spread it out evenly using an offset spatula. Continue adding frosting until you have a nice, even layer, leaving a 1-inch border around the edge to give it a more pizza-like appearance.
- Sprinkle the chopped Oreos over the cream cheese frosting. Chill the pizza in the refrigerator for 10 minutes, then slice with a pizza cutter into 8 equal pieces or 16 if you prefer smaller slices. Serve and enjoy!
