    Ingredient Notes

Ingredients to make Oreo pizza dessert.
    • Chocolate chip cookie dough: For the "pizza dough" we used Pillsbury Chocolate Chunk premade cookie dough, but you can use any brand or flavor you prefer. Or better yet your own homemade recipe! Using storebought cookie dough does make this recipe a breeze though!
    • Butter: You'll need half a stick of unsalted butter to make the cream cheese frosting.
    • Cream cheese: Make sure your cream cheese is at room temperature before you start making the frosting.
    • Confectioners sugar: This ingredient is essential for making the frosting sweet and creamy.
    • Vanilla extract: Use pure vanilla extract for the best flavor.
    • Salt: Just a pinch of salt helps to balance out the sweetness of the frosting.
    • Oreo cookies: You'll need about 12 Oreos for this recipe. We recommend using a sharp knife to chop them into small pieces.

Yes! You could use sugar cookie dough a chocolate cookie dough you could even incorporate more Oreo crumbles into the dough! Just be sure to adjust the baking time for the recipe you are using!

    Expert Tips

    • To prepare this ahead of time, you can bake this Oreo dessert pizza, cool the cookie and store it in the fridge. When you are ready to serve, allow it to come to room temperature, spread on the frosting, and top with the chopped Oreos.
    • If you prefer homemade cookie dough, keep an eye on the baking time as it may vary.
    • For storage, wrap the pizza tightly with saran wrap and it will keep well in the refrigerator for up to a week, although the Oreos may lose their crispness.

    Ingredients

    • 1 package chocolate chip cookie dough I used Pillsbury Chocolate chunk
    • ¼ cup unsalted butter
    • 4 ounces cream cheese room temperature
    • ¼ cup confectioners sugar
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • pinch of salt
    • 1 ½ cups of chopped Oreo Cookies about 12 Oreos

    Instructions

    • To begin, preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Press the cookie dough into a 12-inch tart or pizza pan and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
    • Once baked, remove the cookie dough from the oven and allow it to cool.
    • While the cookie cools, prepare the cream cheese frosting by creaming together the cream cheese and butter in a medium mixing bowl until light and fluffy, which should take about 1-2 minutes on medium speed with an electric mixer. Next, add the confectioners sugar, vanilla, and salt, and beat until combined and smooth, starting on low speed and then adjusting to medium-high.
    • Chop the Oreos on a cutting board and set them aside.
    • Add some of the cream cheese frosting to the center of the cooled cookie pizza and spread it out evenly using an offset spatula. Continue adding frosting until you have a nice, even layer, leaving a 1-inch border around the edge to give it a more pizza-like appearance.
    • Sprinkle the chopped Oreos over the cream cheese frosting. Chill the pizza in the refrigerator for 10 minutes, then slice with a pizza cutter into 8 equal pieces or 16 if you prefer smaller slices. Serve and enjoy!

    Notes

    • To prepare this ahead of time, you can bake and cool the cookie and store it in the fridge. When you are ready to serve, allow it to come to room temperature and top with the chopped Oreos.
