Ingredients

  • 12 Hawaiian sweet rolls we used buttery savory but you could use the sweet ones as well.
  • 8 large eggs
  • ¼ cup heavy cream
  • ¼ cup shredded cheddar cheese for eggs
  • 12 slices bacon cooked
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese for sliders
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsps butter melted
  • Optional: Fresh parsley or chives for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Slice the slider rolls in half horizontally and place the bottoms in a greased 9x13- inch baking dish.
  • Whisk eggs, heavy cream, salt, and pepper. Cook in a non-stick skillet over medium-low heat until creamy, adding cheddar cheese just before fully cooked.
  • Layer scrambled eggs evenly over the slider roll bottoms.
  • Add bacon slices, then place shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  • Sprinkle shredded mozzarella as the final layer, then cover with the slider roll tops.
  • Brush melted butter over the tops of the rolls.
  • Cover the dish with foil and bake for 10 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 5–8 minutes until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley or chives and serve warm.

Notes

  • Keep Covered: Use foil to cover the sliders while baking to prevent them from drying out.
  • Add Mozzarella: Adding a little extra mozzarella with the sharp cheddar adds some more gooeyness!
  • Golden Tops: Remove the foil for the last 5 minutes of baking for perfectly golden rolls.
