Equipment

Ingredients
  

  • 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons dill pickles finely diced (can substitute relish if desired)
  • 2 teaspoons dill pickle juice
  • optional salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Finely dice pickles on a cutting board.
  • Add all ingredients to a small bowl.
  • Whisk ingredients together to combine. Store in the refrigerator until ready to use. Serve on burgers, salads or as a french fry sauce!

expert tips

  • This sauce is so easy to throw together, you can customize the taste to your preference. Some versions of copycat Big Mac Sauce include mustard and no ketchup. Some include onion or onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, and vinegar. My goal was to balance sweet, tangy, salty, and creamy flavors in a healthier sauce that takes seconds to make to throw on a burger. Feel free to use this recipe as a base and create your own flavor profile.
  • Although in my recipe there are only 3 ingredients I go for the best quality for the best flavor as specified in the ingredient notes, trust that it makes a difference.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about 10 days.
